3/7/2024 0 Comments Software like cadnaa![]() ![]() The GUI is good, and you can load one file model with all manner of sources and calculation methods. Anything to do with transportation is definitely based on US standards. CadnaA was mostly there on all of this and I was generally happy with it, but I won't play their BS licensing games. Would be great to have easy topography imports as well. Would love to be able to import imagery directly, either from Google or from NAIP (or both). Road module is a likely purchase, would be a bonus if there is an FHWA option. Lots of my jobs are measuring sources in the field and then back-calculating sound power. ![]() I haven't used Predictor-LimA in nearly 20 years so I don't know what that's like now, and I haven't used SoundPLAN in probably 6, so it may be very different as well.Īnyone have experience with any of these to share? Any options I'm leaving out? So I'm looking into going back to SoundPLAN. I let my CadnaA maintenance lapse and now they basically want me to buy the software all over again to get it up to date. I've been using CadnaA for a few years and in the past I used SoundPLAN. ![]()
